Introducing New Feature - ClaimBook Insurance Command Center

Introducing a new feature, ClaimBook Insurance Desk Command Center.  Command center is a kiosk application, which displays the Portal Health Status, Payer specific Email Service Status, Preauth & Discharge Submissions and cases awaiting responses from Hospital & Payer with elapsed time.

Insurance Desk Command Center Guide

  • Pre-Auth Submitted Status – Shows the number of Initial (New-Preauth) &Enhancement Submission for the day and cases awaiting responses.
  • Discharges Submitted Status- Shows the number of Discharge & Revisions Submissions for the day and cases awaiting responses.
  • Waiting for Payer/TPA Responses - shows cases listed in the ascending order of the time elapsed, which are awaiting response from TPA for Original, Enhancement, Discharge and Discharge Revision approvals. 
  • Waiting for Hospital Response (OPs Escalations) - shows cases listed in the ascending order of the time elapsed, which are awaiting response to the Query from hospital for Initial, Enhancement, Discharge and Discharge Revision approvals. 
  • Portal Service Status- On the Top of the screen, a scrolling status shows the Health Status of the payer portal. Time stamp of status check done along with Payer/TPA name will be shown.
Portal health status is defined by color coding as described below.
    • Green Arrow– Portal status is NORMAL (i.e., Responses from the portal are being received on time)
    • Yellow icon (image of a snail)- Portal status is SLOW (i.e., Delay in receiving response from the portal)
    • Red Arrow- Portal is NOT REACHABLE (i.e., No responses being received from the portal)
  • Email Service Status - At the bottom the screen a scrolling Payer/TPA list gives an indication of the status of email based Payers/TPA. Time stamp of status check done will be shown along with the Payer/TPA name. 
Every Payer/TPA is color coded based on the frequency of mail receipts,
    • GREEN color if the difference between time of last response received from TPA and current system time is less than 2hrs
    • AMBER color if the difference between time of last response received from TPA and current system time is greater than 2hrs but less than 24hrs
    • GREY color if the difference between the time of last response received from TPA and current system time is greater than 24hrs
